Consultant

The Consultant reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems, business requirements and user needs. They are able to independently formulate and implement more complex systems / solutions that meet client business strategies.  The consultant is responsible for conducting meetings and preparing business process documentation, process flow analysis, technology-enabled process improvement/redesign, requirements definition, data modeling and detailed functional design.  This person begins to demonstrate expertise in major / minor areas.  The consultant relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.  The consultant is able to lead specific portions of projects or manage their own engagements.

Responsibilities
  • Works effectively individually and with Coastal Cloud and client team members toward customer satisfaction and success
  • Takes direction from project team members and immediate supervisor, but takes initiative and shows leadership when appropriate
  • Is able to exercise independent judgment on small and medium sized client engagements, or take a lead role on key components of a larger project
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform Salesforce.com administration / configuration / data migration / integration duties as directed
  • Is able to effectively facilitate meetings and demonstrate brainstorming / consensus building skills
Required Skills/Experience/Education
  • Technical Background / Degree Program preferred
  • Able to discuss experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Able to discuss the benefits of a Software as a Service (SaaS) model

Business Analyst

The Business Analyst reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business requirements and user needs. They work together with Consultants, Sr. Consultants and Manager to design and implement systems that meet client business objectives.  Has knowledge of commonly-used design concepts, relational databases, and business process within a particular industry or solution area.   Has ability to be cross-trained in business process, technology implementations, and adoption related activities.  Relies on instructions from assigned project team and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.  The Business Analyst works under the immediate supervision of a project manager, and is able to exercise independent judgment on small engagements or as a part of a team on large projects.

Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for leading a project’s delivery team through the successful delivery of all projects. Project Managers may be managing one or more client engagements at the same time. They manage Coastal Cloud resources and interface with client members to most effectively meet budget, delivery and customer satisfaction goals. They manage risks and resolve issues via regular status meetings with the project team and all stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery team, drive desired professional behaviors and motivate the team to the highest levels of performance and ensure that team resources have the best conditions to perform successfully.
  • Manage the client relationship throughout the engagement to build and maintain a strong customer relationship.
  • Continually assess people, process and technology risks and adjust project plans to address them accordingly.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to Coastal Cloud project team members
  • Leverage a solid understanding of the Salesforce product suite in order to validate key design options and present proposal solutions to all levels of client management
  • Support change control best practices
  • Travels with client or project team as needed
Required Skills/Experience/Education
  • Five years of full life-cycle professional services implementation experience
  • Strong client management and organizational skills

Solutions Architect

Solutions Architects provide technical guidance to the development of Salesforce.com and other SaaS applications to support business and product strategies. Solutions Architects lead technical requirements gathering sessions and oversee and approve creation and maintenance of application and system design documentation.

Responsibilities
  • The Solutions Architect should have sound knowledge of Salesforce.com Sales and Service Clouds. Will be responsible for successfully creating custom applications using Force.com, and integrating Salesforce.com with other systems.
  • The Solutions Architect should be familiar with and know when to use Force.com application development, Salesforce.com integration, and other tools such as Visualforce and Appexchange products.
  • The Solutions Architect will assist in reusing existing company assets for new projects as a needed. Will also work with Account Executives in a Sales Engineering function to appropriately scope project proposals.

  • 2-3  years of advanced skills in Salesforce, Force.com, Business Analysis and Project Scoping.
  • Solid experience in Data Modeling concepts and tools.
  • Applied knowledge of Salesforce and the Sales, Services and Marketing functions.
  • Ability to develop practical solutions and methodologies on the Salesforce platform.
  • Salesforce certifications preferred (Sales cloud or Service cloud consultant; Administrator)
