Product Marketing Manager - FINS/HLS/MAE

This role serves as the market expert and GTM partner for assigned industries and capabilities, responsible for clear services positioning and GTM execution, including service packaging, use cases, narratives, and field-ready assets. The PMM partners with the business and Market Strategy Specialists year-round to evolve messaging, launch new use case solutions, refresh GTM assets, track market shifts, capture customer stories, and continuously strengthen how Coastal shows up in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of buyer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Continuously track market response, competitive shifts, and feedback from Sales, Market Strategy Specialists, and Delivery.
  • Surface insights that inform positioning, packaging, and GTM priorities.
  • Partner with the business to structure, name, and package services, use case solutions, accelerators, and sub-verticals.
  • Own industry-specific positioning and messaging aligned with Coastal’s core narrative.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, buyer-centered narratives.
  • Develop messaging frameworks, value propositions, and differentiation that resonate with buyers and partners.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for customer success stories within assigned industries and own the end-to-end development of the stories and use cases.
  • Maintain a high-quality proof and use-case library that supports expansion, cross-sell, and differentiation
  • Build and maintain GTM Kits, including first call decks, one-pagers, brochures, customer stories, demos, and supporting assets.
  • Support industry-specific GTM planning and launches in partnership with Marketing and Sales leadership.

Required Skills, Education and Experience

  • 7–10+ years of experience in Product Marketing / Consulting Services Marketing within consulting, SaaS, or enterprise technology.
  • Experience and knowledge working with an industry focus within Financial Services (FINS), Manufacturing, Automotive & Energy (MAE), and/or Healthcare/Life Sciences (HLS).
  • Proven experience owning positioning, messaging, and sales materials end-to-end.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Strong program and project management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • High comfort level working in ambiguous, fast-growing environments and building from scratch.
  • Self-starter with a strong ownership mindset.
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills across Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Leadership.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce, Data/Snowflake, and AI ecosystems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Slides; familiarity with Canva and WordPress is a plus.
  • Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
