Challenge

Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) is a nonprofit organization for veterans and active-duty service members. Since 2003, WWP has been meeting the growing needs of warriors, their families, and caregivers—honoring those who serve by helping them achieve their highest ambitions. Through WWP’s direct programs in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care, along with their advocacy efforts, they improve the lives of millions of warriors and their families.

WWP's fundraising team is relentless in their pursuit of supporting veterans, but their previous systems couldn’t keep up with their vision. Despite their best efforts, siloed systems and manual processes slowed them down. The team recognized that enhancing their systems would empower them to focus on what truly mattered—building relationships and securing the vital funding needed to amplify their impact on veterans' lives.

Solution

Coastal partnered with WWP to implement a tailored Salesforce solution to streamline and maximize the organization’s fundraising opportunities.

  • Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP): We supercharged their donor management with NPSP, creating a centralized hub to track supporter contributions and interactions, as well as campaign performance.
  • Grant Management: We streamlined the entire grant lifecycle with the Grant Management module, from application to award. This ensured transparency, accountability, and made sure every dollar went further in supporting wounded, ill and injured veterans.
  • Data Integration and Analytics: We integrated their many data sources, including their legacy marketing system. This gave WWP a 360-degree view of their donors, fueled by real-time dashboards and powerful analytics. Now, they have the insights to make smarter decisions and build even stronger relationships.

The Introduction Moment

This connection laid the groundwork for a relationship built on trust and a shared commitment to empowering veterans and doing work that matters.

The Moment of Trust
We earned WWP's trust by prioritizing what mattered most: improving donor management, optimizing fundraising campaigns, and delivering actionable insights. Our solution? Implementing Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack—a powerful tool built for nonprofits—to supercharge WWP’s fundraising efforts.
