Solutions Architects provide technical guidance, design, and architecture to the development of Salesforce.com and other SaaS applications to support business and product strategies. This role is primarily focused on quote-to-cash (QTC) business processes using Salesforce CPQ and Billing (Revenue Cloud) and contract lifecycle management (CLM). Solutions Architects lead technical requirements gathering sessions and design, oversee, and approve the creation and maintenance of application and system design documentation. This role will serve as the specialist on Salesforce QTC initiatives and provide architectural and design leadership.

Responsibilities
Be the primary face and voice to our clients, and responsible for keeping projects on schedule, and implementing key configuration decisions.
Able to orchestrate the design and configuration that the team of QTC specialists can declaratively configure
Responsible for leading discovery and requirements sessions with Clients and other consultants.
Working collaboratively across teams, defining the system architecture, and helping to design and build high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing platforms
Translate product and business needs to technical specifications and design documents
Provide technical leadership to colleagues through coaching and mentorship
Assisting in technical design as well as hands-on implementation, using your broad knowledge to guide and influence tough technical agreements
Develop and implement new product features and improve existing functionality
Comprehensive business consultation & requirement discussions, white-boarding, and Process flow designs.
Functional understanding of the customer’s use cases, designing solutions to best suit underlying products, broader IT landscape architecture, integration interface design, and overall program outline from a functional and architecture perspective.
Participate in pre-sales activities and internal initiatives as required. Act as a brand steward that embodies the values of Coastal Cloud and demonstrates our collective commitment to Client success.
Proven attention to detail and quality, knowing that this aspect of the Salesforce platform has direct implications on revenue for our Clients.
Required Skills, Education and Experience
Minimum of 3 years Solution Architect experience (or a similar role), excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Minimum of an active Salesforce Administrator or other Salesforce certification required, CPQ & Revenue Cloud Certified preferred
3+ years of advanced skills in Salesforce, Force.com, Business Analysis and Project Scoping.
Solid experience in Data Modeling concepts and tools.
Applied knowledge of Salesforce and the Sales, Services and Marketing functions.
Ability to develop practical solutions and methodologies on the Salesforce platform.
Deep understanding of Sales related tools and processes including quoting, contracting, document generation, E-signatures, billing and integration frameworks
Design innovative & scalable solutions to deliver products in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical peers
Experience crafting data models and APIs using Force.com technologies
Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams internally and at customer location
Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are required.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate with different audiences
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity
Demonstrated experience using flow process software including Lucid Chart, Visio, or other tools
Experience successfully working on engagements utilizing Agile or Iterative project methodologies
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Experience in onsite functional or technical roles on at least four full-lifecycle CPQ projects, with strong implementation expertise in at least two of the following technologies: Conga CPQ and CLM, Salesforce CPQ & billing, Vlocity CPQ
Experience defining systems strategy, and road-map, developing process flow diagrams, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions.
Proficient in all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Experience with relevant AppExchange templating & e-signature tools such as Conga, Docusign, and Adobe Sign
Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
