Coastal Cloud acknowledges that recent events throughout our country have forced all of us to examine what it means to be fair and accepting of everyone. We have been and continue to be committed to equality for all people, regardless of gender, race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or otherwise. Actions are far more impactful than words, so to that end, we would like to suggest that all of us take time this Friday (6/19) on Juneteenth to reflect on the meaning of this important date. As you may know, Juneteenth (also known as Freedom Day) celebrates the end of slavery in America. Whether you take a walk in the morning, enjoy a long lunch, meditate for an hour, or take some time over the weekend to reflect on what it means to be free.
