Located in Birmingham, Alabama, Hand in Paw is the state’s premier Animal Assisted Therapy provider. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to training animals and their owners to work in therapeutic settings. These teams become specialized in helping people of all ages with emotional and physical life challenges.
Leveraging the Tech
In order to appropriately match animals with humans, Hand in Paw relies heavily on accurate data. It is difficult to coordinate the relationships of volunteers, animals and patients without real-time updates. Form submissions presented the biggest challenge. Prior to their relationship with Coastal Cloud, Hand in Paw had untrustworthy data that did not separate animals and humans. With the help of our team, their Salesforce instance was reconfigured to clearly organize the nonprofit’s information and review real-time data.
